The Losing Trader (“we”, “us”) is an educational trading-journal and self-review tool. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
We do not collect your brokerage credentials, and the app does not connect to or place orders with any broker.
Solely to provide and improve the service to you – to store your journal, show your dashboard and analytics, and maintain your account. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Your data is stored in a secured cloud database (Supabase, built on PostgreSQL). Access is isolated per user through database row-level security, so other users cannot read your records. Data may be processed on servers outside India by our infrastructure providers.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our live systems (residual backups age out on a rolling basis).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@thelosingtrader.in.
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember a few preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
